Losing a loved one, ending a relationship, or feeling like you’re losing yourself these are some of the hardest experiences life can throw at you. They shake your foundation, leaving you with emotions that feel impossible to control. For those of us struggling with depression, anxiety, and PTSD, these moments can feel like an endless battle between holding on and letting go.
Every day, I wake up to this struggle. Some days, I want to stay up, push through, and be productive. Other days, all I want to do is sleep, escaping into rest that never truly feels restful. No matter what, exhaustion follows me like a shadow whether I fight it or surrender to it.
The frustration of it all is overwhelming. The emotional ups and downs, the racing thoughts, the moments of numbness it’s chaotic, relentless, and mentally draining. But I remind myself that I’m still here. I’m still showing up, even when it feels impossible.
If you’re feeling this way too, know that you’re not alone. Healing isn’t linear, and grief doesn’t come with a timeline. But through it all, we keep going. Even on the days when just existing feels like a victory, we are still moving forward. And that counts for something.
